Job summary

The Starbucks Manager at Aramark will work alongside the store manager to ensure that Starbucks and Aramark standards and policies are followed. The role includes producing schedules, directing daily activities, and maintaining food safety and inventory at the West Hartford location.

Qualifications include 2–3 years in a supervisory role, barista experience, strong communication, and cash handling. Availability for evenings and weekends is required, with emphasis on hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Two to three years’ experience in a related supervisor position.
• Experience as a successful barista required.
• Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession.
• Experiential knowledge required for management of people and/or problems.
• Excellent oral, reading, and written communication skills.
• Candidate must be willing to be hands on with staff and operations and be willing to work event-based hours that include evenings and weekends.
• Requires previous cash handling experience.
• Must follow required dress code as assigned.
• Complete Food Handling Certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets (Production sheets and recipes).
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintains food production that ensures the safety and quality of food according to policies, procedures, and department requirements.
• Ensure that food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment.
• Maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes and regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory on a weekly basis.
• May prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production for location
• Great and assist customers while anticipating their needs
• Set up and breakdown coffee bar, stations or store including cleaning and sanitizing
• Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions
• Count, organize and balance cash drawer, fill out the cashier slip and make deposits
• Adheres to Aramark’s cash handling policies and procedures
