Job summary

McCormick & Schmick's Seattle is seeking a Café Supervisor to lead front-of-house operations, greet guests, take orders, and ensure excellent service in a fast-paced setting.

You will supervise staff, coordinate cafe duties, monitor cleanliness, and assist with scheduling and opening/closing tasks. This role offers growth opportunities and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent; Associates Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a hospitality setting.
• Must be 18+ years old (for alcohol service).
• Must have Food Handler's and MAST permits.
• Be FAIR: Be Friendly, Accommodating, Inclusive and Respectful.
• Team player with a guest-first attitude.
• Passion for great food and great fun.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take orders, serve food and drinks in a polite and professional manner.
• Assign all job duties to service staff including cleaning tasks as required.
• Monitor and maintain all cafe areas to be clean and hazard free at all times.
• Maintain constant interaction with all guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with FOH café schedules.
• Assist with pre-service meetings for team members.
• Operate café equipment, handle cash and POS systems, and assist with opening/closing duties.
