Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel in Milwaukee is seeking a Café Supervisor to oversee daily cafe and lunch service, lead staff, ensure guest experiences and maintain food quality. The standard schedule runs Monday to Friday starting around 6am.

The role involves managing front- and back-of-house tasks, coaching the team, and maintaining cleanliness and consistency in service across all cafe operations. Saint Kate is part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts and offers growth opportunities and employee benefits.

Competenze

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or F&B supervisory experience.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining guest focus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle guest concerns professionally with sound judgment.
• Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English with guests and staff.
• Maintain professional appearance, positive attitude, and guest service.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

What You Will Be Doing

What We Are Looking For

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or food and beverage supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining a positive, guest-focused work environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues with sound judgment.
• Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems, cash handling procedures, and basic computer functions.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and leadership.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and high level of guest service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including closing shifts, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, lifting, reaching, and twisting.
