Position Details

• Location: The Racquet Lounge, Southampton, NY
• Job Type: Part-time or Full-time
• Seasonal Dates: June 15th - September 2nd
• Compensation: $30/hour

About The Racquet Lounge

Founded in 2023 by former collegiate and professional athletes, The Racquet Lounge (TRL) is a vibrant, inclusive community centered around racquet sports. Located within a five-acre oasis, TRL offers premier Tennis, Padel, and Pickleball facilities and is dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for members both on and off the court.

Role Overview

We are seeking a friendly, energetic Cafe Server to join our team for the summer. Your role will involve delivering outstanding customer service, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our members.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with members courteously and professionally.
• Accurately take and communicate food and beverage orders.
• Serve orders promptly, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Handle payments via POS system, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe and dining areas.
• Work efficiently within a team to meet member needs.
• Stay positive and proactive in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to the kitchen staff.
• Assist with dishwashing and overall cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in a café or restaurant is preferred but not required.
• High school senior, college student, or recent graduate.
• Willingness to learn, reliable, and punctual.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays during summer.
• Team player with a proactive attitude.
• Bonus: Interest in tennis, pickleball, or active community involvement.

Applicants must reside locally in Southampton, NY, as no housing is provided. The commute from NYC is approximately 4 hours each way.
