Job summary

Cafe Leonelli - MFAH seeks a Café Server to deliver friendly, accurate service and uphold safety standards in a high-volume setting. You will communicate clearly, know menu items inside out, and assist guests with orders while maintaining a welcoming ambiance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler Safety Certificate preferred.
• Ability to read, speak and interpret documents in clear English.
• Must be able to multitask and work in high-volume, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures and daily checklist.
• Prepare dining room for service, maintain clean tables and counters.
• Maintain current Toast (Register) with 86 menu items and update daily.
• Stock TO-GO items and ensure packaging supplies are ready.
• Stock and organize service stations with essentials.
• Process POS transactions accurately and safely.
• Know all food and beverage items, ingredients, and preparation.
• Ensure pastry display and beverage carts are stocked and clean.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstation and surrounding areas.
