Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a team member to prepare and serve food and beverages, and to cater meetings and other business functions. You will cook and assemble items, maintain fresh product levels, and ensure a clean, organized work area. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ServSafe certification is required post hire.

Prior food service experience is a plus. The role includes maintaining safety standards, assisting guests with self-checkout, and supporting a nationwide benefits

Job Description

The purpose of this job is to prepare and serve food and beverage items, as well as cater meetings and other business functions.

1. Prepare, cook, and assemble various food and beverage items
2. Anticipate production levels to provide fresh food and maintain sufficient product quantities; prepare the proper amount of food necessary for meetings or events as determined by Café General Manager
3. Ensure products are available and fresh; uphold food safety standards
4. Set up and break down work station or catering events; maintain an organized and clean work area
5. Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest
6. Provide guest assistance with self-checkout procedures
7. Clean, sanitize, and organize café, kitchen, and all storage areas; contribute to the safety, maintenance, and cleaning of meeting rooms or conference areas
8. Maintain a safe work environment for guests and team members
9. Apprise supervisor of work activities and disruptions (i.e., product availability, equipment malfunctions, working conditions)
10. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
11. Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
12. Complete other duties as assigned
