Hocking Hills Lodge and Conference Center is a brand new 81-room lodge with 40 cabins, a full-service restaurant/lounge, and banquet facilities to accommodate up to 200 guests. Hocking Hills State Park is one of the most visited State Parks in the country requiring a level of attention to detail and service to meet the guest's expectations and experience.
As a Prep/Pantry/Production Cook, you’ll support the daily production of our café menu, including breakfast sandwiches, wraps, salads, bowls, snacks, and bakery items. You’ll work behind the scenes to prep, portion, assemble, and finish food using tools like a TurboChef oven. Ideal candidates thrive in high-volume settings, take pride in cleanliness and consistency, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
Prepare and portion fresh ingredients for daily menu items
Assemble cold and hot grab-and-go meals (breakfast, lunch, and evening items)
Operate TurboChef oven and other café equipment for on-demand heating and toasting
Ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation standards are consistently met
Maintain proper food safety and sanitation practices (ServSafe standards)
Assist with labeling, storage, inventory rotation, and restocking
Keep prep and production areas clean and organized
Support the café team during busy service periods
1+ year of prep cook or food production experience preferred
Experience with quick-cook ovens (TurboChef experience a plus)
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
Strong attention to detail and time management
Team player with a positive, flexible attitude
Must be available to work weekends and some holidays
