Job summary

Ascension Coffee is looking for a Café Assistant Manager in Dallas, Texas, to support the General Manager and manage daily operations. This role focuses on hiring, training, and leading a team while maintaining high standards of quality and a safe environment.

The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality and specialty coffee, with strong communication and organizational skills. This is an hourly position, requiring work weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• Specialty coffee experience is a plus.
• Reliable transportation, able to travel to all locations.
• Able to work nights and weekends.
• Strong team building skills, clear communication.
• Great organizational skills, problem solving ability, and intuitive resourcefulness.
• High initiative and self-management skills, willing to take direction.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, ~8 hours each workday.

Responsibilities

• Support team leaders in managing café operations.
