Job summary

Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, a premier Northeast Florida luxury resort, seeks a Sandpiper Café Supervisor to help lead the opening of our new café. You will guide daily operations, coach a high-performing team, and ensure exemplary service in a fast-paced, upscale setting.

The role requires 3–5 years in upscale dining or hospitality, leadership experience, and POS familiarity. Join us to shape a brand-new venue and deliver unforgettable guest experiences at our iconic resort.

Qualifications

• Upscale dining, café, or hospitality service experience.
• Leadership/ supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience using a point-of-sale system.
• Luxury resort, private club, café, or fine-dining experience strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting a restaurant or café opening is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare the new Sandpiper Café for a successful opening.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the café team to provide exceptional service.
• Supervise daily operations from opening through closing.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings with updates, specials, service expectations, and team assignments.
• Ensure the café, beverage stations, dining areas, and service areas are guest-ready.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service standards.
• Support the team during busy periods with guest service and POS transactions.
• Train and develop new and existing team members with ongoing coaching.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs.
• Assist with scheduling, labor efficiency, and staffing adjustments.
• Verify opening, running, and closing checklists are completed.
• Document maintenance concerns and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with F&B leadership to achieve goals.
