Job summary

Tatte Bakery & Cafe in Darien, CT seeks a Café Manager to lead daily operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and support team development in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be a hands-on leader who drives hospitality excellence and operational standards.

You will coach staff, manage openings and shifts, ensure product quality, uphold safety standards, and maintain inventory. This role fosters a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests and teammates alike, with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months supervisory experience in a restaurant, café, or hospitality environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and station setup

Responsibilities

• Model authentic, warm hospitality and coach team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Lead shifts by deploying team members, managing operations, and providing real-time coaching and feedback
• Ensure beverage, bakery, and savory products meet recipe and presentation standards
• Complete administrative responsibilities including cash management, ordering, time clock verification, and safety audits
• Other duties as assigned
