Alvarium Roasting Company was established in 2022, following the ideals and beliefs of its sister company, Alvarium Beer Company. We look to make the world a better place through phenomenal coffee, hard work, and creating an inviting space for the community to work or decompress. We're seeking a dynamic Café Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our two bustling coffee shops, one at Alvarium Beer Company in New Britain and the other at Gastro Park in West Hartford. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience, managing our talented staff, and ensuring the highest quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

In this full time position you will split your time between two locations and be responsible for:

• Operational Excellence: Oversee all café operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and cash handling.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of baristas and production assistants.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain strict quality control standards for all coffee and food products.
• Customer Experience: Cultivate a warm, inclusive and inviting atmosphere, ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Product Innovation: Collaborate with the team to develop and promote creative and seasonal drink offerings.
