Reporting to Store Director, you’ll manage 20+ baristas, optimize COGS and waste, ensure health codes, and drive consistent, elevated service from kitchen to counter. Flexibility for early mornings, weekends, and holidays required.

Position Summary

The Beverage Manager owns every beverage program at Nude Miami — coffee, smoothies, matcha, froyo, and juicing — from sourcing and recipe standards through daily execution, equipment care, and team training. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who has run high‑volume, high‑complexity, premium beverage operations and holds every cup, cone, and bottle to a consistent, elevated standard. The Beverage Manager reports to the Store Director and partners closely with the Culinary Director and Retail Director to keep the beverage bar fast, clean, on‑spec, and profitable.

What You'll Own

• Full P&L accountability for the beverage program — coffee, smoothie, matcha, froyo, and juicing — including COGS, waste, and category‑level gross margin targets.
• Coffee bar operations on the La Marzocco espresso platform: dial‑in, extraction consistency, milk texturing, and barista technique standards.
• Smoothie program on Vitamix Quiet One equipment: PLU/recipe adherence, portioning accuracy, and ingredient prep standards.
• Matcha program standards: ratios, water temperature, whisking technique, and product presentation.
• Froyo/soft‑serve operations on the Electro Freeze platform: mix rotation, machine temperature and cleaning cycles, and flavor changeovers.
• Batch juicing on the Goodnature X1: production scheduling, yield management, shelf‑life/date coding, and cold‑chain compliance (juicing at Nude Miami is fully batched, not made‑to‑order).
• Recipe, PLU, and specification integrity across all five programs, working from and helping maintain the Beverage Bar Operations SOP.
• Daily/weekly production planning to hit volume without over‑or under‑producing perishable inventory.
• Equipment maintenance, preventive care, and vendor coordination for all beverage equipment (espresso, blending, soft‑serve, and juicing platforms).
• Health‑code, food‑safety, and cleanliness compliance across every beverage station.
• Hiring, training, scheduling, and day‑to‑day leadership of the beverage bar team.
• Leads a team of 20 baristas and beverage staff across the coffee, smoothie, matcha, froyo, and juicing stations.
• Vendor and ingredient sourcing coordination to protect the organic, seed‑oil‑free, non‑GM​O standard across every beverage category.
• Inventory counts, receiving, and shrink control specific to beverage‑program ingredients, aligned to store‑wide inventory SOPs.

What You Bring

• 3+ years managing a high‑volume, high‑complexity, premium beverage program — specialty coffee, juice bar, smoothie bar, or comparable multi‑category concept.
• Demonstrated skill on commercial espresso equipment, high‑output blending equipment, soft‑serve/froyo machines, and cold‑press or masticating juicing equipment.
• A track record of holding recipe and portion consistency at volume without sacrificing speed of service.
• Working knowledge of COGS, waste tracking, and category gross‑margin management.
• Comfort leading a team of 20+ through peak rushes while maintaining quality and cleanliness standards.
• Food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent); Florida food handler requirements.
• Genuine alignment with clean‑label, organic, non‑GM​O, seed‑oil‑free food values.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as the business requires.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs, work around commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment, and perform repetitive tasks (blending, extraction, portioning) in a fast‑paced retail food environment.
