two:ten HTX is seeking a Café Lead / Lead Barista to shape the opening standards for our new café in Houston Heights. You will be behind the bar crafting excellent drinks, while establishing day-to-day cafe operations from day one.
You’ll own opening/closing, workflow, inventory, food safety, POS procedures, and staff coaching in a hands-on leadership role, collaborating closely with the coworking team to create a unified guest experience.
Company Description A space where work, faith, and community don't have to live in separate buildings.
two:ten is a faith-rooted coworking space and coffee shop opening in the Houston Heights. We're named for Ephesians 2:10: "we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works."
The space is over 10,000 square feet across two floors. Forty-five private offices. Fifty-eight flex seats. Meeting and event spaces. And a full-service coffee bar open to members, neighbors, and the public.
Under one roof live two distinct but connected experiences: two:ten cowork and two:ten coffee.
two:ten coffee isn't an amenity bolted onto the coworking space. It's a café of its own, with its own staff, standards, guests, and specialized operations, while sharing the hospitality and community that make two:ten what it is.
We're looking for the person who can help us build it from day one.
We’re looking for an experienced Café Lead / Lead Barista to join us ahead of opening and help set the standard for our coffee, hospitality, and day-to-day café operations from the very beginning.
You’ll be behind the bar making excellent drinks and taking care of people, but this role goes beyond making coffee.
opening and closing, bar workflow, drink quality and consistency, inventory and ordering, food safety, cleanliness, POS procedures, vendor coordination, and the systems that keep a café running well.
And because we’re opening from zero, you’ll help us build some of those systems too.
You’ll work directly alongside founder Tyra Miller and our Community Manager. The Community Manager owns the coworking and member experience; you own the café. The two operations work closely together, and our guests should experience them as one warm, thoughtful two:ten environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role. At launch, you aren’t managing the café from an office: you’re leading it from behind the bar.
two:ten coffee is opening Fall 2026 in Houston Heights.
