Join Our Team Baton Rouge General is looking for a friendly, dependable Hospitality Associate who enjoys working with people and creating a welcoming experience for patients, visitors, employees, and guests. In this role, you’ll provide excellent customer service while assisting with food service, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment. What You’ll Do:

• Greet customers in a friendly, courteous, and respectful manner.
• Operate the cash register and accurately process cash, meal tickets, charge cards, and payroll deductions.
• Balance cash receipts and register totals at the end of each shift.
• Assist with serving meals, beverages, desserts, and other food items.
• Set up and maintain serving areas according to established standards.
• Replenish food, beverages, utensils, condiments, and other supplies as needed.
• Help ensure food items are presented appropriately and according to established standards.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming cafeteria, serving area, equipment, and counters.
• Provide prompt and efficient service while responding to customer needs.
• Follow established safety, infection prevention, and organizational guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with team members to provide an excellent customer experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For Preferred Experience

• Previous cashier experience is preferred.
• Previous customer service, hospitality, food service, or related experience is a plus.

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
