Job summary

Boxcar is seeking a friendly Cafe Dishwasher in Boulder, CO to join our cafe and bakery teams. You will clean and sanitize dishware, bus tables, and operate the dishwasher, supporting kitchen and cafe staff throughout shifts.

The role emphasizes guest experience, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols in a bustling cafe environment. Part-time with hourly pay and employee benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must meet the minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the country you are applying.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds safely.
• Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 hour shift.
• Team-oriented with strong reliability and communication.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans and cooking utensils.
• Bus tables and cafe space upkeep as needed.
• Safely operate the dishwasher and other kitchen equipment.
• Empty trash in the kitchen and other areas.
• Support kitchen, bakery and cafe staff as needed.
• Keep guest and team in mind in every decision.
• Follow all cleanliness and safety protocols.

Position Overview

Your responsibilities as a Cafe Dishwasher will include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans and cooking utensils
• Bussing tables and cafe space upkeep as needed
• Safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other equipment
• Emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas
• Working as one kitchen supporting kitchen, bakery and cafe staff as needed.
• Focusing on your team and guests - every decision made should always have the guest and team in mind
• Following all cleanliness and safety protocols

What we are looking for in you:

Compensation

Average of 14 - 16 hours per week: Hourly $19.50 - $22.00 hr.
