Job summary

Eataly is seeking a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Sales Associate to deliver exceptional guest service across its gelato, pastry, coffee, and panini counters. Reporting to the General Manager of Quick Service Restaurants, you will support multiple counters and ensure accurate prep, labeling and display setup.

You will handle cash, follow FIFO, and assist with maintaining quality and safety standards while working a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Experience operating a cash register preferred.
• Prior food service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide service across all QSR counters.
• Prepare and arrange items, labels, and displays.
• Ensure FIFO dating and proper allergen separation.
• Operate cash register and manage cash drops.
• Perform other duties as required.

Job Description

At Eataly, this role is referred to as a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Sales Associate. This person provides exceptional guest service across Eataly’s various QSR counters – serving gelato, pastries, coffee, paninis and other Italian treats. Reports to the General Manager of Quick Service Restaurants.

• Provides service across all QSR counters
• Completes food preparation assignments neatly, accurately and in a timely manner
• Sets up stations and replenishes displays neatly including separation of allergens (nuts, wheat, etc.)
• Ensures all items are dated and following First in First Out (FIFO) standards
• Prepares necessary collateral, weighs, labels, packages and serves products
• Complies with department policies and quality, health, safety and sanitation standards
• Operates a cash register and ensures accuracy of cash drops and authenticity of bills
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
• Ability to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, drink blender, juicer and cash register

Compensation: This position pays a base rate of $17 per hour plus tips.
