16 On Center, a dynamic live music venue operator in Chicago, is hiring a Café Cashier for its Good Ambler's at 2 North Riverside location. You will be the first point of contact for guests at the grab-and-go café, providing friendly, efficient service while keeping the space stocked and organized.

The role requires hospitality passion, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle cash and transactions accurately in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier, retail, café, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.
• Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide exceptional hospitality and customer service.
• Accurately process guest transactions through the point of sale system.
• Stock and organize retail shelves, coolers, and display areas.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory counts as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the grab-and-go area and seating areas.
• Assist with packaging and preparing catering and wholesale orders.
• Assist bakery team with transactions, closing, and cleaning tasks.
• Ensure products are properly labeled, rotated, and displayed.
• Answer guest questions regarding products, menu items, and offerings.
• Communicate inventory or guest service concerns to management.
