Job summary

Salamander Meadows Café in Aspen, CO is seeking a part-time Barista to craft coffee and tea beverages with a high level of service. You will take orders, assist with food items, and promote menu options in a fast-paced cafe environment.

You will operate the POS system, maintain equipment, and ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The role requires flexibility, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in hotel or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take food/beverage orders.
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and other beverages.
• Prepare and serve soups, sandwiches and pastries.
• Answer guest questions and promote menu items.
• Use POS system for orders and payments.
• Maintain espresso machines and other equipment; perform cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Keep cafe clean and organized; ensure sanitary conditions.
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues; improve service quality.
• Assist with menu refinement and attracting new guests.
