Job summary

The University of Vermont Bookstore is seeking staff to assist Henderson’s Café in daily operations, including opening/closing, preparing coffee and specialty drinks, operating a cash register, and delivering excellent customer service to customers and visitors.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, understanding of basic retail practices, and basic computer skills; desirable qualifications include familiarity with retail sales and fast-paced café experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the smooth daily operation of Henderson’s Café, located within the UVM Bookstore. Perform opening or closing duties on a set schedule, routinely prepare coffee and specialty drinks, operate a cash register, maintain Café systems and displays, supervise student employees, and provide excellent customer service to customers and visitors.
