Job summary

CITY HOME in Florida is seeking a Café Barista and Bartender Wesley to prepare and serve coffee, baked goods and beverages while handling cash transactions. You will support CITY Café events, maintain ServSafe standards, and aim to meet monthly sales goals. Requires 21+, 1–3 years food service, and flexibility for nights/weekends.

Reports to Showroom Director/Sr. Showroom Manager; compensation $15–$18.50 per hour. Join CITY Café team and grow with a family‑oriented retailer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1–3 years of food service experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays.
• Full time 40 hours a week / Part time 32 hours a week.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Make cookies, other menu items, and serve beverages throughout the day.
• Maximize café sales by providing world-class service, suggestive selling, and upselling.
• Obtain pre-determined sales goal expectations on a monthly basis.
• Prospect and find new ways to increase business.
• Adhere to the assigned Standard Work and Role and Responsibilities for your role.
• Maintain the cleanliness of CITY Café by completing the daily checklist according to ServSafe standards.
• Order and maintain proper inventory of all beverages and glassware using the “first in, first out” process.
• Focus on quality control of product temperature and service.
