Job summary

CITY HOME, located in Wesley Chapel, FL, is seeking a Café Barista and Bartender to join its CITY Café team. The role focuses on making beverages, pastries, and food items while delivering world-class service to guests in a fast-paced showroom setting.

The position offers hourly compensation of $15–$18.50 with full-time or part-time possibilities, a Varied schedule, and benefits. Training and growth opportunities are provided within Sales/ Retail Operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1–3 years of food service experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Make cookies, other menu items, and serve beverages throughout the day.
• Maximize café sales by providing world-class service, suggestive selling, and upselling.
• Obtain pre-determined sales goals on a monthly basis.
• Prospect and find new ways to increase business.
• Maintain CITY Café cleanliness per ServSafe standards.
• Order and maintain inventory of beverages and glassware using FIFO.

Position Title & Location

Café Barista and Bartender - Wesley Chapel, Florida

Reports To: Showroom Director/Sr. Showroom Manager
Department: Sales/ Retail Operations

Compensation

$15 - $18.50 per hour

What You’ll Do

• Make cookies, other menu items, and serve beverages throughout the day.
• Maximize café sales by being readily available, providing World world-class service, suggestive selling, and upselling.
• Obtain pre-determined Sales Goal expectations on a monthly basis.
• Prospect and find new ways to increase business.
• Adhere to the assigned Standard Work and Role and Responsibilities for your role.
• Maintain the cleanliness of CITY Café by completing the daily checklist according to ServSafe standards.
• Order and maintain proper inventory of all beverages and glassware using the 'first in, first out' process.
• Focus on quality control of product temperature and service.

Education & Work Experience

• High school diploma preferred
• One (1) to Three (3) years of food service experience preferred

Work Environment & Schedule

• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays
• Full time 40 hours a week / Part time 32 hours a week

Physical Requirements

• Lifting excess of 20 lbs.
• Set-up, bending, reaching and cleaning CITY Café
• Prolonged standing and/or walking
• Must be 21 years of age

Technology Requirements

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)

Certifications / Licenses

• Servsafe Certification preferred but not required
• Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License
