Responsibilities

• Positively engaging with customers
• Clean and restock fridges with food and beverage products
• Accepting orders and payments through Toast POS system
• Change keg lines when necessary
• Make and serve all smoothie and beverage orders
• Answer customer questions about menu choices; promote and recommend menu options
• Maintain inventory and equipment by cleaning and troubleshooting
• Keep the work environment sanitary and organized
• Evaluate and modify processes to improve efficiency and service quality
• Craft and serve salads and sandwiches when needed
• Cook menu items following SOPs with high standards
• Prepare food for service (salad station, meats, sauces)
• Prepare coffee station for service
• Prepare Grab n Go items (sandwiches, wraps) in packaging for fridge display
• Take orders from customers directly or via Toast POS
• Engage positively with customers

Qualifications

• Provide top-notch customer service to meet or exceed expectations
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Training, motivation, and retention of Canteen staff
• Ability to lift 30+ pounds
• Continuous standing and walking during shifts
