Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Tipped Cafe Attendant for the Sculpture Garden in Washington, DC. You will take orders, prepare foods, and handle cash with a focus on friendly customer service in a fast-paced setting.

You will be cross-trained as cashier, cook, line server, and general helper, while maintaining sanitation standards and assisting with inventory and station setup. This is a full-time, on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Partial high school education; diploma preferred.
• Ability to interpret menus/recipes and follow directions.
• Strong visual and communication skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards.
• Willing to cross-train in other areas.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from customers and cook foods requiring short preparation times, according to customer requirements.
• Perform food preparation tasks, such as sandwiches, soups, salads, breads, and beverages.
• Set up, restock, and break down food prep equipment and work areas.
• Restock kitchen supplies and rotate food.
• Accept payments and issue receipts, refunds, or change accurately.
• Maintain a clean and orderly cash station area; stock supplies.
