Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs is seeking part-time Café Team members to engage, energize, and inspire our members and Team members. The role runs Tuesday through Friday from 9:00am-2:30pm, with weekday, evening and weekend shifts as scheduled.

You will deliver a superior café experience, perform food and beverage services, and handle opening/closing duties while maintaining a clean, organized café space.

Qualifications

• Experience in food and alcohol service.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Customer service oriented and able to work with a team.
• Basic computer skills.
• Safety awareness in a food service environment.
• Energetic and self-motivated.
• Availability for weekday, evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening, closing and shift-specific duties, including cleaning, restocking and food prep.

Job description

We are currently looking for part-time Café Team members who will engage, energize and inspire our members and Team members. Working hours are Tuesday through Friday from 9:00am-2:30pm.

The Café Team member will:

• Deliver a superior café experience to both members and non-members
• Prepare, execute and complete a myriad of café services
• Perform opening, closing and change of shift specific duties, including cleaning, restocking and food prep
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness standards of the café space
• Manage the café cash drawer, with full responsibility for balancing and deposits

Qualified Candidates must:

• Have previous food and alcohol service experience, as well as cash handling experience
• Be passionate about customer service and working with a team
• Possess basic computer skills
• Monitor and address safety
• Be energetic and self-motivated
• Be available to work weekday, evening and weekend shifts as scheduled
