Job summary

Monarch Landing in Naperville, IL is seeking a part-time Café Attendant to join our Food & Beverage team. You’ll provide warm, personalized service to residents and guests, assist with café operations, and help ensure safe food handling and sanitation.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 6+ months in food service, and a sanitation certification within 30 days. Schedule is 11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. across 3 shifts per week at $16/hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least six months of experience in kitchen or food-service environment.
• Food service sanitation certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
• Knowledge of food preparation, storage, handling techniques, and equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Strong customer-service skills and a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a resident-focused environment.
• Reliable and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, personalized service to residents, staff, and guests.

Monarch Landing is seeking a hospitality-minded Café Attendant to join our team.

About the Role

As a Café Attendant, you’ll help create an exceptional dining experience for our residents, guests, and team members. You’ll provide friendly, personalized service while supporting daily café operations, food preparation, and safety and sanitation.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping others, and understands that the little details can make a big difference in someone’s day.

Schedule: Part-Time | 3 shifts per week | 11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Pay: $16/hour
