Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking Café Attendants to deliver fast, friendly service and help guests enjoy a quick bite before their next activity.

You will know the menu, assist guests with selections, prepare items to spec, and keep safety and sanitation top of mind. Teamwork and reliability are essential in a fast-paced environment at our venues.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers Certification, as required
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to workdays, nights and/or weekends

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet Guests and be an ambassador of FUN.
• Recommend menu items and ensure order accuracy.
• Prepare quick-service food and beverages according to recipes and standards.
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipate Guests' needs.

Job Description: At Main Event, our Café Attendants provide exceptional experiences by assisting our Guests with selecting a quick bite to reenergize them for their next activity! As a Café Attendant, you know the menu inside and out and can make great suggestions. You’re an expert on our recipes, operational standards, equipment, and utensils. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Welcome and greet all Guests, all while being an ambassador of FUN!
• Recommending menu items and ensuring order accuracy
• Preparing quick-service food and beverages according to recipes and standards
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage or retail experience a plus but not required
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Food Handlers Certification, as required
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to workdays, nights and/or weekends
