Job summary

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents and guests with courteous, attentive service.
• Take orders, answer menu questions, and accurately process payments.
• Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, cold beverages, and other café items per recipes and service standards.
• Refill and display pastries; rotate items using FIFO.
• Check product dates and labels; store food and supplies properly.
• Keep counters, equipment, dining areas, and workstations clean and organized.
• Arrange and clean outdoor tables and chairs.
• Clean the café’s glass doors with glass cleaner and a coffee filter.
• Empty trash and clean bottom of trash cans as needed.
• Clean pastry trays daily.
• Keep Lavazza espresso machine and Bunn coffee maker on; do not switch off during closing.
• Restock supplies and communicate low inventory, equipment concerns, or product issues to a manager.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing, and other duties as assigned.
