Job summary

Main Event in Frisco City, AL is seeking a Café Attendant to welcome Guests, share menu knowledge, and ensure quick-service accuracy while maintaining safety and sanitation standards. You will become an expert on our recipes, operate equipment safely, and represent a FUN, guest-first culture.

The role involves handling payments, assisting during peak times, and collaborating with a team that values growth, inclusivity, and reward programs. Prior experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage or retail experience a plus but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!) and teamwork are essential.
• Food Handlers Certification, as required.
• Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet Guests as an ambassador of FUN.
• Recommend menu items and ensure order accuracy.
• Prepare quick-service food and beverages according to recipes and standards.
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipate Guests' needs.
• Process payment transactions and welcome Guests back.
• Perform opening, mid-day or closing duties.

At Main Event, our Café Attendants provide exceptional experiences by assisting our Guests with selecting a quick bite to reenergize them for their next activity! As a Café Attendant, you know the menu inside and out and can make great suggestions. You’re an expert on our recipes, operational standards, equipment, and utensils. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Welcome and greet all Guests, all while being an ambassador of FUN!
• Recommending menu items and ensuring order accuracy
• Preparing quick-service food and beverages according to recipes and standards
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage or retail experience a plus but not required
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Food Handlers Certification, as required
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
