Job summary

Main Event Entertainment in Austin, Texas is seeking a Café Attendant to help guests enjoy quick bites and drinks while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

With strong knowledge of the menu and recipes, you’ll greet Guests, suggest items, prepare orders, handle payments and keep the service flow smooth across opening, day, or closing shifts.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage or retail experience a plus, but not required.
• Guest focused mindset.
• Teamwork is a must.
• Food Handlers Certification, as required.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends.

At Main Event, our Café Attendants provide exceptional experiences by assisting our Guests with selecting a quick bite to reenergize them for their next activity! As a Café Attendant, you know the menu inside and out and can make great suggestions. You’re an expert on our recipes, operational standards, equipment and utensils. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcoming and greeting all Guests, all while being an ambassador of FUN!
• Recommending menu items and ensuring order accuracy
• Preparing quick service food and beverages according to recipes and standards

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Salary Range: 7.25 - 13.25
