Job summary

Main Event Entertainment in Austin is seeking a Café Attendant to help guests quickly reenergize with great food and ideas from a well-known menu. You know recipes, safety standards, and equipment, and you’ll deliver superb service with a smile.

You’ll greet guests, make recommendations, prepare items, handle payments, and stay focused under pressure. Previous F&B or retail is a plus, with flexibility for days, nights and weekends on site.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage or retail experience is a plus.
• Guest-focused mindset and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards and sanitation procedures.
• Greet guests warmly and act as a FUN ambassador.
• Recommend menu items and ensure order accuracy.
• Prepare quick service food and beverages per recipes.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly and anticipate guest needs.
• Process payments and welcome guests back.
• Assist with opening, mid-day or closing duties.

As a Café Attendant, you know the menu inside and out and can make great suggestions. You’re an expert on our recipes, operational standards, equipment and utensils.
