Job summary

Five Star Breaktime Solutions in Evansville, IN is seeking a Café Associate to join our Dining Services team. You will welcome guests, take orders, and prepare food and beverages to our standards.

Accurately handling POS transactions, lifting items, and maintaining cleanliness are essential components of this role. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or relevant food service experience, be able to pass a drug screen and background check, and lift up to 50 pounds as part of daily

• High school diploma/GED or food service experience.
• Consent to a drug screen and pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests and assisting with orders.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company standards.
• Accurately handle cash, credit, and electronic transactions using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including dining and kitchen spaces.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Restock supplies and assist with inventory as needed.
• Support the overall success of the café by assisting teammates and contributing to a positive work environment.
