Job summary

Sam's West, Inc. in Murray, UT is seeking a Team Member to maintain product knowledge, assist across departments, and educate associates on tools and resources.

You will prepare food to item specifications, support seasonal planning, and follow food safety standards with proper sanitation and inventory control. You’ll leverage handheld tech to improve sales and the shopping experience while ensuring quality and service to members.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications and educate associates on tools, tasks and resources
• Prepare food according to item specifications and plan for seasonality and mass production
• Operate, maintain and sanitize equipment following safety guidelines
• Leverage handheld technology to drive sales, manage orders and improve the shopping experience
• Stock, rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date control, assist members with purchases and resolve issues
• Act as a brand ambassador and train others while complying with company policies
