Job summary

Sam's Club is seeking team members to support prepared foods and cross-functional collaboration at our Salina location. Employees will learn product specs, help educate colleagues, and adapt to business needs across areas.

You will prepare foods to spec, manage inventory, and ensure safety standards are followed while leveraging handheld devices to drive sales and service. The role emphasizes teamwork, brand representation, and a customer-focused experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred: Food Safety Certification, Food Service Food Handler Certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications for prepared food merchandise and educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources.
• Prepare food according to item specifications and plan for future and seasonal productions.
• Operate and sanitize equipment and ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
• Leverage handheld technology to support production decisions, ordering, and training to improve the shopping experience.
• Stock and rotate merchandise, maintain quality and date control, and assist members with purchases and inquiries.
• Comply with company policies and ethics, complete required trainings, and support process improvements.
