What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicate effectively with team members; and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
- Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; understand and plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain and sanitize equipment; and demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick‑up orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the area; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date‑control standards; eliminate waste; provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs; assist members with purchasing decisions; payment types; locate merchandise; and resolve member issues and concerns.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Be a brand advocate; develop, influence and inspire others to work in a style that is respectful, supportive and team‑oriented; understand roadblocks and assist in training them.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in executing business processes and practices.
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers and other partners; identify priorities, deadlines and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapt to and learn from change, difficulties and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if offered the position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Food Safety Certification, Food Service.
- Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
