Job Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications for prepared food merchandise, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate associates on tools, tasks and resources, communicate effectively with team members, and remain flexible to business needs in other areas.
• Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications, plan future productions and mass productions, prepare for seasonality, adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management, operate and sanitize equipment, and demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution.
• Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick‑up orders, training and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
• Be an Owner: Drive area performance, stock and rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date‑control standards, eliminate waste, provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying member needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, processing payment types, locating merchandise and resolving member issues.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Act as a brand advocate, develop, influence and inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive and team‑oriented style, understand roadblocks and assist in training.
• Comply with company policies, procedures and ethics standards by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy and applying them in business processes and practices.
• Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data and resources, collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers and other partners; identify priorities, deadlines and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress; recommend improvement opportunities; adapt to change and learn from feedback.

Compensation

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include premiums from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

Preferred Qualifications

• Food Safety Certification.
• Food Service experience.
• Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
