Responsibilities

  • Assist with education of associates on tools, tasks and resources.
  • Prepare food according to item specifications and plan for future productions and seasonality.
  • Utilize digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience, including handheld technology for production, ordering, and training.
  • Stock and rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date control, and assist members with purchasing decisions.
  • Act as a brand advocate, support a respectful, team-oriented work environment, and help train others.
  • Adhere to company policies and ethics by following related action plans and the Open Door Policy.
  • Carry out tasks and priorities by using data and resources, communicate progress, and adapt to change.

Job description

What you'll do
  • Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicate effectively with team members; and be flexible to the business needs to work in other areas.
  • Be an Expert: prepare food according to item specifications; understand and plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; and demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution.
  • Be a Techie: leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick-up orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
  • Be an Owner: drive the performance of the area; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; assist members with purchasing decisions; accept payment types; locate merchandise; and resolve member issues and concerns.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: act as a brand advocate; develop, influence, and inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style; understand roadblocks and assist in training them.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in executing business processes and practices.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Additional Compensation

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Hourly Wage

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Minimum Qualifications
  • I acknowledge that the position for which I am applying requires me to successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if I receive the position.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Food Safety Certification.
  • Food Service.
  • Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) – Certification.
