Job summary

Dassault Systemes in Johnston, RI seeks an Industry Process Consultant to provide pre- and post-sales technical support for simulation tools, develop proofs-of-concept, and deliver end-to-end workflows for aerospace, defense, industrial equipment, and marine sectors.

You will perform simulations with Abaqus, ANSYS, Nastran, CATIA Analysis, and automate tasks with Python, Fortran, or Visual Basic, while applying AI/ML, DOE, and Six Sigma to improve processes. Domestic travel ~25%.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical, civil, or aerospace engineering or related discipline.
• Domestic travel 25% +/-.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace/defense, industrial equipment, or marine/offshore industries.
• Strong capability in FEA workflows, script-based automation, and simulation tools.
• Ability to meet deadlines, adapt to customer requirements, and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support for Dassault Systemes simulation tools.
• Develop proofs-of-concept and end-to-end workflows for complex engineering challenges.
• Perform simulations using Abaqus, ANSYS, Nastran, CATIA Analysis, or similar packages.
• Apply continuum and fracture mechanics, material modeling, and composite analysis.
• Utilize pre/post-processing software like Abaqus/CAE, HyperMesh, SOLIDWORKS.
• Use programming languages such as Python, Fortran, Visual Basic for automation and customization.
• Integrate AI/ML, DOE, optimization, stochastic methods, and Six Sigma into workflows.
