Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Kirkland, WA seeks an engineer to advance FEA modeling for consumer electronics, using Python or MATLAB to automate analyses and simulate mechanical and electromagnetic behavior.

The role emphasizes sub-modeling, fluid-structure interaction, and magnetics, with exposure to AR/VR technologies and common FEA tools like ANSYS, COMSOL, Abaqus and HyperMesh.

Qualificações

• MS or BS degree in Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or similar discipline.
• 2+ years' experience with FEA modeling of consumer electronic devices.
• Experience with scripting environments such as Python and MATLAB.
• Experience with mechanical simulations e.g. modal, static, dynamic.
• Experience with permanent magnet and low frequency electromagnetic simulations.
• Experience with advanced simulation techniques such as sub-modeling and fluid-structure interaction.
• Familiarity with the emerging Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technologies.
• Proficiency in FEA software such as ANSYS, COMSOL, Abaqus, HyperMesh or similar tools.
