Job summary

TOOGANN TECHNOLOGIES seeks an experienced CAE analyst to lead crash safety simulations using LS-DYNA. You will build and analyze vehicle system models, ensuring alignment with safety criteria and company standards. Collaboration with design and test engineers is essential.

You will generate comprehensive reports and communicate findings to engineering teams, including Honda, contributing to countermeasure development and documentation for ongoing programs.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in ME is required.
• Minimum 6+ years of industry CAE experience.
• Minimum 5 years of LS-DYNA experience with pre/post-processing tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform crash safety simulations using LS-DYNA.
• Evaluate simulation results through detailed analysis.
• Compare outcomes to target performance criteria (NCAP/IIHS) and internal standards.
• Determine countermeasures to meet criteria if needed.
• Communicate recommendations to Engineering teams (Honda).
• Create detailed engineering documentation and reports.

Job description

BS Degree in ME. Minimum of 6 plus years of industry experience as CAE analyst and specific solver software usage depending on department specialty area. Minimum of 5 years of experience with LS-DYNA using pre-processor / post-processor tools (ANSA and Meta-Post) for complex vehicle system level CAE model construction, visualization, and analysis.

Prepare and perform crash safety-related impact simulations using LS-DYNA. Evaluate the results of the simulations through careful analysis of crash simulations.

Measure these simulations against the target automobile performance criteria based on advanced safety standards such as the New Car Assessment Program and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety criteria and company's internal safety standards.

Determine the appropriate countermeasures to meet the criteria if simulation outcomes are below target performance.

Communicate any recommendations to the appropriate Engineering teams with Honda.

Create detailed engineering documentation of simulation analysis by generating written reports and working with design and test engineers.
