Job summary

Gokenamericallc is seeking an experienced CAE engineer to support automotive crash safety analysis. The role focuses on preprocessing with ANSA, performing dynamic and static, linear and nonlinear analyses with LS-DYNA, and interpreting results for countermeasures.

You will report findings with Meta-Post and align analyses with real-world test data, collaborate across teams, and travel to client sites as required. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5+ years CAE crash experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of Crash Safety CAE experience.
• Experience with ANSA and LS-DYNA is required.
• Meta-Post for post processing preferred.

Summary

This role will support CAE development activities.

Responsibilities

• Utilize ANSA for preprocessing tasks and meshing.
• Responsible for dynamic and/or static, linear and/or nonlinear analysis utilizing LS-DYNA
• Interpret data, develop, and report countermeasures using Meta-Post for post processing.
• Must be able to optimize and correlate analyses with real world test results.
• Communicates effectively within the group about milestones and issues, and outside the group to accomplish goals.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems independently or with minimal guidance.
• Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve product and/or processes.
• Utilizes Excel to create and update project schedules.
• Travel to client site required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5+ years of Crash Safety CAE experience
• Education with the following specialties preferred: Mechanical, Mechanical Technology, Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing
• Experience with CAE tools such as ANSA, LS-DYNA required
• Experience with Meta-Post for post processing preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including excel.
