Akkodis is seeking a Crash Safety PSC / CAE Engineer for an onsite role in Raymond, OH. The candidate will perform hands-on CAE work focused on automotive crash safety, using ANSA and LS-DYNA to build and modify full-vehicle models and interpret results.

Applicants should have 5+ years of CAE experience, strong meshing skills, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision. This 7+ month contract-to-hire position offers competitive W2 rates.

Job description

Role / Title: Crash Safety PSC / CAE Engineer

Location: Raymond OH / Onsite

Contract : 7+ Months / C2H

Rate / Salary Range:

$50/hour - $55/hour on W2; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Designation

Best fit:

• 5+ years CAE experience
• Strong hands-on ANSA
• Strong LS-DYNA
• Automotive crash safety experience
• Full-vehicle CAE preferred
• Experience with complex models / millions of elements
• Strong meshing/model-building experience
• Comfortable modifying existing models based on design changes
• Still hands-on / execution-oriented
• Able to work independently with limited hand-holding

Potentially acceptable:

• ~3 years experience if technically strong
• Strong nonlinear automotive CAE but component/subsystem-focused
• HyperMesh/HyperWorks background if candidate also has meaningful ANSA experience
• We are ideally seeking on-site Crash Safety CAE engineers with prior experience (5-7 years) in the following areas:
• ANSA pre-processing and model preparation (critical)
• LS-DYNA crash simulation setup and execution (critical)
• Meta-Post or equivalent post-processing tools
• Linux-based CAE environments
• Crashworthiness analysis and interpretation of simulation results
