Trillium Staffing is seeking a CAE Applications Engineer for a fully remote opportunity. This Direct-Hire role provides pre-sales and post-sales CAE support, including demonstrations, training, and optimization of CAE software across multiple engineering disciplines.

The ideal candidate has hands-on CAE/FEA/CFD experience, a bachelor's in mechanical or aerospace engineering, and strong communication for customer-facing work. Travel is domestic and the schedule is Monday–Friday.

Trillium is seeking a CAE Applications Engineer for a fully remote opportunity!

This Direct-Hire position is seeking an experienced CAE Applications Engineer to support customers through the implementation, application, and optimization of advanced Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) software solutions. This role serves as a technical expert, providing pre-sales and post-sales support, conducting software demonstrations, delivering training, and assisting customers with simulation and analysis challenges across a variety of engineering disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering analysis, simulation technologies, and customer-facing technical support. The CAE Applications Engineer will work closely with customers, sales teams, and software partners to ensure successful adoption of CAE tools while helping organizations improve product development processes, performance, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• -Provide technical consulting, application support, and troubleshooting for CAE software solutions while assisting customers with model setup, validation, and results interpretation.
• -Lead software demonstrations, technical presentations, proof-of-concept projects, and customer evaluations to showcase CAE capabilities and best practices.
• -Deliver customer training and ongoing technical guidance to support the successful implementation and adoption of simulation and engineering analysis tools.
• -Partner with sales teams to identify customer needs, develop technical proposals, and recommend solutions that align with engineering and business objectives.
• -Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive support, technical expertise, and regular engagement.
• -Stay current on simulation technologies, software enhancements, and industry trends while documenting customer interactions, project activities, and technical findings.
• -Travel periodically for conferences, trade shows, and meetings with key clients. All travel will be domestic.

This is a fully remote, work-from-home position!

Work schedule is Monday-Friday, with flexibility in start time. Typical start times range from 8am-9am.

Salary range is $75-100,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related engineering discipline is preferred.
• -Hands-on experience with CAE, FEA, CFD, and/or multiphysics simulation software, with strong proficiency in engineering analysis tools.
