Position: Senior CAE Application Engineer

Location: Remote

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000

Job Description:

We seek highly skilled Application Engineers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Simcenter or similar software (e.g., ANSYS, Abacus, Hypermesh), and possess strong customer service skills, thrive in fast-paced environments, and enjoy solving complex problems. The role involves autonomous work, supporting team success, and playing a critical part in delivering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for Siemens Simcenter products, including troubleshooting network and performance issues.
• Support customers in applying CAE solutions to design challenges.
• Conduct pre- and post-sales support, including software demonstrations.
• Implement, configure, and customize CAE software to meet client needs.
• Analyze client processes, identify improvements, and integrate Siemens Simcenter solutions.
• Create training materials and conduct user training sessions.
• Develop knowledge of industry standards affecting product design and manufacturing.
• Contribute feedback for future software releases and communicate customer insights to Siemens.
• Collaborate with teams to deploy CAE templates and strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and enhance CAE offerings based on feedback.
• Expand knowledge of CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM solutions and market needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering.
• Experience with Simcenter or similar software for analysis types such as static, thermal, modal.
• Interest in working within the CAE field focused on Siemens Simcenter.
• Understanding of engineering processes and product development.
• Experience with engineering tools like CAD, CAM, CAE, PLM.
• Proficiency in programming, scripting, or CAE automation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Legal eligibility for ITAR work in the US.
