Overview
Our Denver, Colorado (CO) office is looking for a CADWorx Designer with 6+ years of experience to join our Natural Gas team!
Responsibilities
- Create and complete PFDs and P&IDs from verbal directions, written descriptions, and mark‑ups provided
- Apply fundamental piping principles, formulas, and industry practices to support design development and problem‑solving.
- Build 3D facilities models from P&IDs
- Review and interpret reports, drawings, test data, applicable codes, and specifications to ensure design requirements are met.
- Plan and execute production drawings for routine and moderately complex assignments, including design layout, analysis, and supporting calculations.
- Develop and produce piping drawings using standard methods and techniques, including layout, sequencing, component sizing, and refinement of preliminary sketches.
- Incorporate design changes, redlines, and markups on active projects while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with company, client, and project drafting standards and are completed within budget, scope, and schedule
Qualifications
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree preferred)
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in CADWorx
- Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Willingness to mentor and teach others
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self‑starter
Salary Range: $95,000 - $150,000
