Job summary

Colonial Auto Center in Virginia seeks an experienced Cadillac Technician to diagnose and repair GM and domestic vehicles. You will use OEM tools, handle advanced electrical, drivability, engine, and transmission diagnostics, and document repairs.

This role is for seasoned technicians with dealership experience and a track record of quality work. The position emphasizes diagnosing today’s advanced automotive systems, maintaining high productivity in a flat-rate environment, and staying current

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional automotive technician experience.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical and drivability concerns.
• Proficiency with modern diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to maintain productivity and quality standards in a flat-rate environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Cadillac vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Perform advanced electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, and HVAC diagnostics and repairs.
• Utilize OEM diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
• Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Complete repair documentation and inspections thoroughly.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and management.
• Stay current on GM and Cadillac technologies, repair procedures, and training.
