The Opportunity

SkillBridge (DoD) – CADD Technician

Location: Denver, CO

Note: This training opportunity is unique to ONLY Active-Duty U.S. Military Members with formal approval from their command.

SkillBridge Training Start Date:

  • Start dates are dependent on the qualified service member. Dates can be adjusted as necessary and will last approximately 12 weeks.

RS&H is currently seeking an entry level/early career Transportation Infrastructure CADD Technician for our Transportation practice based out of our Denver, CO office.

The CADD Technician thrives in the industry’s ever-changing technical environment through the adoption of new technologies and constant investment in their knowledge and skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active-Duty Service Member within 180 days of honorable separation
  • Eligible/Approved for the DoD SkillBridge program
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and shake up to 20 pounds
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with team members
  • Ability to work independently with direction & general supervision, as well as within a collaborative team environment
  • Willingness to work with different teams to meet project deadlines
  • Dedicated to continued growth

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in CADD with an emphasis in civil engineering principles
  • Working knowledge of:
    • National and Discipline CADD standards
    • AutoDesk and/or Bentley platforms
    • MS Office Suite
    • Bluebeam Studio
    • MS Teams
    • File Management
    • Revit, BIM, ProjectWise, & Axiom experience a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of quality CADD deliverables for multiple projects with a keen awareness of project schedules and deadlines.
  • Coordination with multi-disciplinary teams to prepare civil construction documents under the direction of more senior designers and engineers.

Typical salary range for this position in Colorado is $60,953 to $76,218 and commensurate with experience relative to the position.
