Job summary

GRW Engineers, Inc. in Indianapolis seeks an experienced CADD Technician/Designer to support water, wastewater, and stormwater projects using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, BricsCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities include concept design, coordination with equipment manufacturers and other disciplines, development of project specifications, and preparation of quantities and cost opinions. The role also involves assisting with permitting and standards compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing water resources infrastructure in a consulting environment.
• Current AutoCAD and Civil 3D expertise is essential.
• BIM/3-D skills with BricsCAD or Revit are a plus.
• ARC GIS skills are a plus.
• Experience creating and setting up templates and styles in the software platforms.
• Experience with Civil 3D surfaces and grading.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual development and final design of water, wastewater, and stormwater facilities.
• Coordinate with process equipment manufacturers and vendors.
• Coordinate with architectural and other engineering disciplines; provide complete design.
• Develop project specifications and design of pipelines.
• Prepare construction quantities and opinions of cost.
• Assist with permitting for governmental/regulatory agencies.
