Job summary

Project Consulting Services, Inc. in Metairie, LA seeks a CADD Mapping Designer/Drafter to support energy infrastructure projects.

You will interface with engineering and project management to produce permitting-ready drawings and detailed construction documents, including mapping, site plans, grading plans, and HDD-related drawings. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD Map is required; Blue Sky Skyline familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD Map.
• Experience with Blue Sky Skyline is a plus.
• Ability to integrate into a project team.
• Detail-oriented with ability to produce precise drawings.
• Experience with surveying data is a plus.

Job description

Project Consulting Services, Inc., an engineering and project management firm specializing in the development of energy infrastructure projects, is recruiting CADD Mapping Designers/Drafters for our office in Metairie, LA.

As a support to our project efforts, our CADD Mapping Designers interface with our engineering and project management personnel to provide a complete source of details needed for permitting, engineering and construction. Our CADD functions provide clients with innovative maps, conceptual details, and detailed construction drawings. Types of drawings may include mapping, site plans, grading plans, pipeline alignment drawing, and horizontal directional drills (HDD’s). Our CADD services provide adequate diversity to accomplish any range of tasks to support our project needs.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD Map.


• Other considerations will be given for experience with Blue Sky Skyline.


• Ability to integrate as part of a project team.


• Initiative-taking with ability to identify detail requirements for project assignments.


• Ability to analyze data to prepare a display of project details.


• Ability to prepare drawings with sectional profiles and small or intricate details with a high degree of precision.


• Familiarity with management of survey data considered an asset.


• Consideration will be given for all levels of experience.
