Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced CAD Technician to support a growing Water/Wastewater team within an established engineering firm. This full-time role works on a mix of infrastructure projects including utility pipelines, pump stations, and water treatment facilities.

You’ll develop detailed CAD drawings, create alignments and surfaces, draft piping layouts, and collaborate with engineers to meet schedules and improve workflows in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in utility and pipeline design drafting.
• Proficiency with alignments, profiles, and surfaces.
• Familiarity with national CAD standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed CAD drawings for water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater pipeline projects.
• Produce full drawing packages including plans, profiles, sections, and details.
• Build and manipulate surface models for site and linear design.
• Draft mechanical piping layouts for pump stations and treatment facilities.
• Coordinate with engineering staff to maintain project schedules and resolve design issues.
• Assist in troubleshooting CAD-related challenges and improving internal workflows.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have:
