Job summary

Maryville Academy is seeking a Licensed Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) for the Family Behavioral Health Clinic in Des Plaines, IL. The full-time role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a human services related field and focuses on counseling children, adolescents, and families to promote recovery and well-being.

The clinic provides individual and group counseling, in-service staff training, and participates in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services related field preferred.
• Must possess the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Familiarity with Part 2060 Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Treatment and Intervention Licenses of Title 77 of the Illinois Administrative Code.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual and group counselling for referred patients/clients.
• Provides in-service training to Maryville staff as indicated.
• Participates in continued performance quality improvement; pre-service training required.
• May be scheduled to work weekends and/or holidays.
